
Professional Working Competencies (Personal Development Skills Module)
In addition to technical and managerial expertise, engineers must cultivate professional working competencies to thrive in complex and collaborative environments. This module focuses on developing skills in professional communication, enabling engineers to convey ideas clearly and effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. Teamwork and collaboration are emphasized, fostering the ability to work productively in multidisciplinary groups and contribute meaningfully to shared objectives.
Problem-solving and critical thinking are central components, equipping engineers to analyze challenges systematically, evaluate alternatives, and implement innovative solutions. Time and priority management skills are also addressed, ensuring that engineers can organize tasks efficiently, meet deadlines, and balance competing demands in high-pressure settings. Through this module, participants gain a comprehensive foundation in personal and professional development, enhancing their effectiveness, adaptability, and readiness for leadership roles in the engineering profession.

MISSION
Develop practical semiconductor design skills;
Provide essential business and personal skills for future technical administrators.
Contribute to providing high-quality and hands-on experiences for talents to serve national and international markets.
PARTICIPANTS
Final-year students (third or fourth year) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree;
Recent graduates with less than 2 years of work experience;
Be in the following fields of study: Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IC Design, and related fields in the Semiconductors.
Proficient in English (minimum B1 level according to the CEFR – European Framework).

INSTRUMENTS AND TOOLS

Orientation: At the end of April – Early May
Training progress: Three months (expected from June to August)
Certification Ceremony: expected in September 2026
ANNUAL INTAKE
About 35 ~ 50 eligible students will be selected to participate in the VNCHIP Talent Program 2026.
